Career: Choosing between career and family

Careers - Road SignCareer: Choosing between career and family. Should you choose at all.

Which is more important your career or your family? This is one of the most difficult question on Earth for a lot of people. This has been one of the question that I have answer to and that was my family being more important or absolute than my career. I can only have a peace of mind when I know that my family is all taking care of and then my career can be pursue. I can't be in another state enjoying myself knowing that my family really needs me there, especially if one of my brother is sick and my parents are getting too old. This has been a heartbreaking question for me for the longest time.

I have troubled by this question for about five years while I was living in California and my family was living in Nevada. After five years, I finally moved to Nevada because I couldn't leave my family any longer. Family is a big joy and also a big drag sometimes. If it weren't for my family, you would see me often on TV nowaday, but I gave up my dream of being a Hollywood sweetheart and moved home to take care of needy family members.

I think that it all depends on your family circumstances. If your family is well to do and they can take care of themselves than your career should come first. If your family really need your help, than they should come first. Even if your career is something as rare as being a Hollywood sweetheart. Yes! I have gave up that dream because my parents and little siblings needed me. I feel happy with my family but also unfortunate that I can't pursue my dream. If my family were well to do people, my Hollywood dream would undoubtedly come first.

This question will only depends on your family circumstances and how far you are living from your family. I was very unfortunate to not even live in the same state with my family, if I was living in the same state with my family, my career doesn't have to choose. If family is not a concern anymore, then your career should come first because your career allows you to support your family. Without a good career, you and your family would suffer like ice cream on a hot day. Unemployment is what makes people depressed and ruin their relationship with their family. You should always respect Mr. Benjamin Franklin first because without him you won't have a family.

There are many cases of unfortunate situation that force us to choose the less desirable choice but what can you do. You can only learn that a large family would hold you back from a lot of things in life. You suddenly can't move to another state to launch your career because your little kids need you, your wife needs your paycheck, your dog also need you. Life will be better if you lessen the load of family members. I had no choice. I was never married and have no children but I have many siblings that are very needy.

How to Build Experiences in The Healthcare Field

1This is on How to build experiences in the healthcare field.

Its hard to find a job in the healthcare field if you don't have any experiences and this is why you must find way to build your experiences. If you don't have any, you must pay special attention to build your experiences. There are lower rank institution for you to build your experiences upon. You must start out somewhere or even in another state, some wonderful state like california will hire people without licenses or even those who are in nursing school with no experiences. Yes, you can get a head start in some states and some states are just miserable like vegas. You will not get to work if you don't have experiences or the license to do so. I dislike vegas for this.

If you don't have experiences, vegas is not the place for you. You will not be able to find work here if you don't have the experiences or license, and you should move to another state. I would rather start out in states like ca. They are so forgiving and they will let you work ev en as a nursing student.

However, you can build experiences in nursing home, where the requirement is lower and the admission rate is better. You can also start out in rehab as well. Its easier to get into such place. Agency or home health have lower requirement and they might hire you. Your best bet is to find experiences in states that welcome new graduates. Sometimes small clinic can help you too.

I believe that internship and volunteer experiences can make your resume look good and help you build the skills that you need to succeed. you can always find volunteer experiences at the local hospital. They are always looking for volunteers. This will help you get to know people and will also help you build the necessary experiences that you will need as a new graduate. I know you also have internship, while you're in college but the more the better. I will also suggest community healthcare facilities, as they might be willing to help out new graduate get a job. You might also try staffing company, since they're a little lenient on things. Just get out there and work wherever you get hired, it will also be helpful if you know people that own clinics since they will help you get hire without experiences, so knowing people is ideal.

Rule Engines
So what is Acuity and what does it do? How is it different from Jess or Drools or Blaze or Fico.

The answer is Acuity is different. It is not like any of the Rule engines mentioned above. Acuity processes simple if-then type rules that you would find in the banking and financial services industry. Acuity rules are in plain english and easily created by the business users themselves. This does not mean Acuity cannot process and run rules from other rule engines. Effort is under way to add multiple project templates to Acuity with each template capable of running rules from different rule engines.

Drools is on the horizon as it implements the ‘rete’ algorith, is available under the Apache 2.0 license, has its own dialect DRL and also a ‘CLIPS’ plugin that can run rules written in CLIPS. We here at concentricsys.com like CLIPS a lot and have been working with it a lot lately. We think it is simpler than prolog, can captivate the users imagination and has a wealth of examples already that users can get started with.

But I digress. Acuity Business rules composer has 2 main modules:

1. Dashboard - This module allows generation of domain objects, rules authoring, validation, layout setting, editing bindings and workflow.

2. Runtime - This modules executes the rules using 2 views:

a. Dynamic View: a real-time view where rules are executed and results presented in real-time

b. Wizard view: The wizard view collects the information needed to run the rules and executes them.

Acuity Axon Rules
Here’s an example of an Axon rules file that is created using Acuity:

The above rules illustates several aspects of Acuity’s AXON rules.

1. The rules are plain english rules

2. The user of domain objects like car, customer which are POJOs - Plain Old Java Objects

3. Acuity does rules chaining. The last 3 rules are dependent on the result of the execution of the rules above them.

4. The use of bindings in rules. AdditionalFeaturesList is a list of additional features like

Air Conditioner

Leather Interior

Power Driver Seat

Power Passenger Seat etc

5. The use of aggregations in rules. Aggregations are useful for keeping score. For example, the number of reward points or points system for evaluating premiums etc.

6. Each rule is preceded by a rule id which is its unique identifier. Acuity Business rules composer generates them automatically for you.

7. The rules consists of 2 parts:

a. Rule Header: This is the portion that has @take.compilerhint.slots etc

In this section, we define classes, methods and slots for each method.

Each slot has a direction either IN or OUT.

b. The rules body we saw earlier

The Acuity AXON rules in plain english above are compiled in to java class files in the workflow stage. The class files are then loaded and executed at runtime.

Dynamic Refresh

So what is dynamic refresh and why do we need it. As mentioned earlier, Acuity';;s plain english rules are compiled into Java class files which are then loaded into memory and executed. Those familiar with Java and Java';;s classloading mechanism will immediately tell you there';;s a problem with this. In java, a class once loaded into memory cannot be deleted until the parent classloader that loaded the class is also deleted. This means that once the rules have been compiled into java class files, they cannot be changed any further. Even if you change the rules and regenerate the java class files, the application will continue to run the older version of the Java classes it already has in memory. Only when the server is restarted or the application redeployed, will the new changes take effect.

Acuity Business rules composer is available in 2 editions:

a. SaaS - Software-as-a-Service model where many users create accounts in Acuity and use the software ala facebook

b. Stack - Each user gets their own server stack with bundled Acuity Business rules composer and they can do what they want with it subject to Acuity terms and conditions.

Now let';;s see how to solve this problem and what impact it has on the above 2 deployment scenarios.

a. Reboot the system or Restart the server

May be possible in Stack but definitely not in SaaS

b. Use tomcat manager webapp to redeplo

Again may be possible in Stack but definitely not in SaaS

c. Build your application as a OSGi web bundle

Definitely  possible but futuristic and would involve using non-standard containers like eclipse Virgo instead of the tried and tested Tomcat container.

d. Use a third-part software such as JRebel to redeploy the classes at runtime

Viable and probably the best solution till OSGi becomes mainstream. Let us explore this JRebel option further.

JRebel allows redeploying classes at runtime which is exactly what we want. But JRebel is commercial software and requires a license. They do have a 30-day trial and also a JRebel social license which is free to use for non-commercial purposes. So users of Acuity stack version who wish to have dynamic refresh can opt for a JRebel social license.

The problem with JRebel is it doesn';;t provide versioning. You configure a directory as redeployable and JRebel monitors it for changes and redeploys anything that has changed. So there';;s no way you can version the classes and allow going back to a previous version in case you want to.

Fortunately, the people who make JRebel have a companion software LiveRebel which provides versioning facilities. LiveRebel only works for web applications packaged as war files. So each individual rules project you create in Acuity must be bundled as a war file before it can be versioned and redeployed. LiveRebel integration is in our roadmap for the future and you should see it in a future version of Acuity Business Rules composer in the not so distant future.

The Echo2 framework and Hibernate are the 2 most important as without these 2, there would be no Acuity.  Let us discuss some more about RIA frameworks.

Echo2 is a Rich Internet Appliceation RIA framework for writing web applications. There are numerous other RIA frameworks and a complete list is available at https://sites.google.com/site/javawebframeworksgroup/java-web-framework-list

Only Vaadin is a framework similar to Echo2 and has a richer set of components than Echo2 and commercial support is provided by its creators. However, Echo2 is quite adequate for the time being and there are no plans to migrate unless there is an express need to do so.

Acuity Bean generator

Acuity provides a build-in bean generator that generates Java Bean classes from XML. A sample bean.xml is given below:

The above XML contains 3 beans Product, Address and Customer. The Customer beans refers to the Address bean and hence it is a UDT or user-defined type. Acuity processes the above XML and generates Java source files and compiles the sources into java class files on the fly. It addition it maps the type names provided by the user to their real types before the bean generation. For example, users can enter

string as type for property Name

and Acuity would map it to java.lang.String so the user is not expected to know the Java language syntax.

FileSystem Classloader

Where are these generated files located and how are they available to the application. Before using Acuity, each user should visit the ';;General Settings screen';; and set their filestore directory. It is here that all their generated assets are kept. I say assets because they might include Rules files which are plain text, Image files such as logos, other directories meant for java packages, java source files and java class files. A custom webappclassloader takes care of loading these files from the user';;s filestore directory.

This filesystem classloader does not perform dynamic classloading.

User-Defined Types

So what are user-defined types. Aren';;t all JavaBeans user defined types because they are not available as part of java packages. That might be true. But in Acuity Business Rules composer, Java Beans are the primary building blocks for rules and are called domain objects. The term user-defined type is reserved for the special case when a JavaBean refers to another JavaBean in its property such as when the Customer Bean has a Address property or an Order bean has an array of LineItem beans.

Acuity uses a special terms for these beans because considerable effort has to be made to support such types in rules. The Layout screen which allows users to specify an editor for JavaBean fields has been modified to detech when a property is a user-defined type and handle it differently.

Layout Editors
Similarly, if a binding is a javabean or a user-defined type, the bindings editor has a special type of editor called ';UDTPropertEditor';; to edit such beans. Acuity has over 18 different editors for editing bean fields. These are:

BooleanPropertyEditor
BooleanAsCheckBoxPropertyEditor
StringPropertyEditor
DoublePropertyEditor
FloatPropertyEditor
IntegerPropertyEditor
LongPropertyEditor
ShortPropertyEditor
ColorPropertyEditor
DateChooserDatePropertyEditor
SpinnerPropertyEditor
ComboBoxPropertyEditor
UDTPropertyEditor
DateFieldDatePropertyEditor

Runtime Views

Acuity provides the following runtime views:

a. Dynamic view

In this view, all the queries present in the project are run sequentially and the results presented cumulatively. This runtime screen is highly interactive and for each key or button press in the bean pane, the queries execute and results are presented in the result pane. This way users can see what the effect is on the result by changing a input bean parameter which can be very useful for making decisions. When using user-defined types, running the rules on every key press may not be desirable as the user may want to supply all the data before the rules are run. aFor such cases, they can set the ';;runRulesOnTabOut';; parameter to false in Rules Settings screen, and a run button will appear on the runtime screen. Only when the run button is pressed will the rules be executed.

b. Wizard view:

A wizard first collects all the data for performing an operation and then executes the operation. The Wizard view too does the same. The first screen in the wizard view lists the queries available in the project for user to select. When a query is selected, depending on the number of input params in the query, that many panels are created and presented to the user. When the user has provided data for all the panels, the query executes and results are presented.

For example, if the query is

getAdditionalPremium(car, driver, result) which as 2 input params car, driver,

the wizard view has 4 panels,

1. The Names panel for listing all queries

2. The car panel

3. The driver panel

4. The Result Panel

Result Pane Tabs

The user can present the results of all the queries in the same tab or if they wish create any number of tabs and map queries to each tab to present results of those queries in that tab. The ';;queriesToSameTab';; and ';;queriesToSameField';; are also available.

If the user wants a single tab with a single field containing results for all the queries, they can set ';;QueriesToSameTab';; field.

Or if they wish, they can set all queries to same field only for the tab at position n. For this they set ';;queriesToSameField';; for tab n and all query results for tab n will be presented in a single text area.

If no result pane tabs are configured, Acuity will present all results in a single tab, single field layout.

The result pane tabs are valid only for dynamic view. For wizard view, results for a single query is presented at any time.

Tab Indices

There';;s a a catch when using the dynamic view because it presents only 1 tab for each bean param even if it appears more than once in the query.

For example, lets say there';;s the queries,

getAutoEligibility(car, driver, value)

getAdditionalPremium(policy, car, premium)

In the above queries, car bean appears at position 0 in query 1 and in position 1 in query 2. Even though it appears in different positions in these queries, running them in dynamic view is not a problem as there is only 1 car.

But let';;s say there are 2 cars and the query is

getCarHavingBetterMileage(car1, car2, result)

The ';;showTabIndicesInTabTitles';; parameter is available for this purpose.

In dynamic view without setting showTabIndicesInTabTitles,  will display tabs

car, driver, policy

dynamic view with showTabIndicesInTabTitles set,  will display tabs

car_1, car_2, policy_1, driver_2 and so on.

This way, the correct bean object will be passed to the query when it is executed.

This problem does not arise with the wizard view. The choice of when to use dynamic view and when to use wizard view is something the user has to decide.

Themes and Locales

Acuity has support for themes. The user can select from several themes from the themes menu and the application will switch to that theme. Currently there are over 17 themes and more is being added.

Enchanting_Blue
Glorious_Lifestyle
Pristine_Beauty
Strawberry_Delight

Architecture
Snow_Forest
ecom_fun
Happy_Home
Crazy_Valentine
Business_Sense
Social_Media_Wave
Elegant_Luxury
Maple_Glory
Infinite_Outer_Space
Lost_TVSeries
Blue_Flowers

Presently, there is only English locale but more will be added in not so distant future.

Social Media Integration

There is social media integration but it is quite light such as allowing users to do a facebook ';;like';;, do a google plus +1 or tweet from inside Acuity Business Rules composer. A tag cloud component is also available if needed.

Conclusion

Acuity Business Rules composer is a versatile software that can create and run declarative business rules of the if-then format. Keeping Ahead In Business Online

There are so many people going out on their own in business. They have found something that they want to do and realised that it can be done entirely online – they have then stepped out on their own to provide their services in their own business.

Usually, people who operate their own business online have some kind of digital expertise. For example people with skills in web design and development are able to offer these services, as their overall ‘product’ is not physical but digital. As a result, digital channels are favourable for this – in fact, they are ideally suited.

But doesn’t that exclude a whole range of businesses that don’t operate in a digital sense? People who make products that are physical, no matter how small or big, should still be able to operate their own business online in a similar sort of way. The problem with making physical products is that it takes a lot of energy and manpower.

This means that, unlike the web developer holed up in their bedroom, there is usually added expense involved for people wishing to sell products online. One expense is staff. Staff are required to assemble the products, and it can be a significant expense if there is a significant demand for the product itself. However, it’s possible that a business will buy their products wholesale and then sell them on – which mitigates the expense of staff.

Even if that is the case, there are numerous other expenses that one can run into. For example, there are a lot of storage needs for physical products. Unlike digital storage, which keeps getting smaller and providing more and more space, physical space is at an absolute premium. The cost of warehousing is very high, especially for a small business. In addition, renting a warehouse can mean wasted money during times when demand is reduced – such as in the case of seasonal products.

However, it is possible to utilise an outsourced warehousing company that uses a shared model – meaning that expenses are reduced. Storage aside, there is still the issue of distribution of these physical products. Whereas the web developer ensconced in his room will have the ability to simply email his products with zero costs – shipping and handling can be expensive, not to mention a logistical nightmare.

The amount of time it takes to fulfil these orders is also a concern, most small business owners don’t want to waste their time focussing on things that aren’t at the core of their business goals or interests. One solution is hiring a member of staff, which will incur a considerable expense. Another solution is outsourcing logistics in a similar way to outsourcing warehousing. In fact, it could possibly be the same provider.

Outsourcing means that all shipping and handling, as well as storage, is outsourced. Leaving you to focus on the core values of your business

Impact of Foreign Education

In a dynamical world state of affairs, collection countries square measure fast efforts to realize recognizable success within the field of education. Islamic Republic of Pakistan has additionally taken measures to the present impact. These efforts, tho';; commendable, square measure debated by some lecturers as non-sustainable and therefore non-productive. however these objections, over 2,000 students are able to avail scholarships publicised by the upper Education Commission (HEC). These scholarships within the field of science and technology square measure expected to bring experience to the country and set it on the trail of progress. The expertise additionally aims to allow people a worldwide perspective, therefore causative towards the creating of ‘global’ voters.
On the economic and employment front, it offers a good advantage to graduates of prestigious international universities in gaining employment among the country and abroad. within the job market, preference is given to contemporary graduates! This truth was highlighted once a revered teacher and college member of the geographic region University visited the scholar advising workplace at the America diplomatic building Lahore to inquire regarding Graduate Degree Programs within the America for his son. He explained that despite the actual fact that his son had a record of outstanding educational credentials, he lost bent foreign, particularly America educated candidates, within the job market. Unfortunate thtrue could seem for the native graduates,  a proven fact that the international education expertise, particularly at far-famed academic establishments, will typically provide a plus to students UN agency square measure applying for jobs. This understanding has light-emitting diode to a rise in study abroad plans in most countries, particularly in those countries wherever the native education trade continues to be evolving. UN agency records a fifty six p.c increase in international student enrollment from 1999-2004. Six countries host sixty nine p.c of the world’s mobile students. They are: USA (22 p.c); UK fourteen p.c; Federal Republic of Germany ten percent; France ten percent; Australia seven percent and China 5 percent (UNESCO, and Open Doors 2006). presently there square measure two.5 million international students worldwide and per forecasts there';; be seven.2 million international students (worldwide) in two025 (Boehm, Davis, Meares and Pearce, 2002).What is necessary here is to know the explanations for this redoubled demand, except the actual fact that it perceived as a key to higher employability. The yank Council on Education enumerates the subsequent factors that have light-emitting diode to a rise in ‘internationally mobile students,’ a term coined by UNESCO:
Projected growth in home wealth

Increased demand for instruction

Lack of capability in some countries to fulfill this demand

Growing interest in learning overseas

(Boehm, Davis, Meares and Pearce, 2002).

The last issue enumerated on top of are often higher explored once seen within the context of the dynamical world state of affairs.  not a world wherever countries or economies perform in semi-isolation. Today’s world is Associate in Nursing dependent and ferociously competitive entity; multinationals square measure erasing geographical boundaries within the context of business/industrial investment andopportunities. To be able to vie with success, they give the impression of being for native human resources in countries wherever they';; investment. These employers have the advantage of choosing the most effective and also the brightest owing to engaging employment edges. One lovely component in candidate choice appears to be the ‘study abroad’ expertise. however the tutorial worth of a ‘foreign’ degree, what extremely attracts the leader is that the ‘global experience’. This expertise or exposure within the case of international students provides a chance to act with academics and students from completely different countries, stimulates learning and permits insights into completely different points of read. It additionally helps in making a world network of contacts. By approach of example it';; fascinating to notice some similarities between experiences looked forward to by Freshmen at four-year faculties within the America (Chronicle of upper Education August ’05) and employers rating of the importance of candidates qualities/skills (10 Things employers need you to be told in faculty, Bill Coplin, 10 Speed Press, 2003). Among the thirteen objectives listed by students, 5 within the high bracket upset communication and interaction with individuals of various racial or cultural backgrounds. within the rating provided by employers the bulk of the specified qualities involve communication and social skills. On a five-point scale the highest four most vital skills rated by employers are: It is fascinating to notice that the score Average (GPA) gets a rating of three.68 in comparison! this can be to not undermine the importance of the measure since  Associate in Nursing indicator of skills and divulges however sensible the scholar is at “figuring out what the professors need and so delivering the goods” (Bill Coplin”). What stands out is that the significance of and target communication or social skills; these square measure the qualities that a world learning atmosphere provides and these square measure skills that employers and large businesses square measure craving for. owing to the various philosophy atmosphere in faculties and universities within the America and since the America is host to the most important international student population worldwide. yank faculties and universities offer the foremost tributary atmosphere for getting effective people-dealing skills, this can be why “over 565,000 international students square measure listed within the America instruction – quite double as several as the other leading host” (American Council on Education).

SPREADING THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE

green-business-table1The Internet has had a tremendous impact on the spread of the use of the English Language in the international arena and by an increasingly wider number of people who are not native English speakers. This article illustrates the significance of this.

More than 80 percent of the information that goes round the Internet is in the English Language.  The increasing globalization of information, goods and services has made English the de facto choice of language for communication among the nations of the earth probably due to historical reasons and reasons of practicality.   The rise of the Internet has only accelerated this trend manifold.

Due to the obvious necessities of communication, whether the parties are native English speakers or those who speak English as a foreign language or even a second language, the Internet is becoming extensively influential in spreading the use of the language. It is expected that the number of English users or learners will double in the near future largely due to the presence of the Internet.

Specifically, this will be due to the non-English speaking nations going in the path of becoming well-versed in the language.  While the Internet is a platform that merely facilitates the exchange of information for English speaking nations, it is an enabling platform for those that do not. It must be realized that educating a nation that has had something other than the English Language as its native communication to adopt a second language for economic and developmental purposes is a huge task.  This is because there are limited resources within the educational framework of such nations to say the least.

Hence, a universally available tool such as the Internet which at this point in time has been made accessible in most parts of the world brings opportunities of learning the English Language not available before. This is not just due to being forced to deal with the massive flow of information worldwide to make progress in their daily affairs but also due to specific avenues for learning the language, i.e. written, spoken, audio and visual all on the Internet itself.  This can be attributed to two key factors among other lesser factors. One is the proliferation of Internet based social interaction through social media applications. Secondly, it is the formal learning opportunities for the language mostly presented by the English speaking nations as online courses, tests, appraisals, audio-visual aids and structured information that enables an individual to pursue betterment if not mastery of the English Language in their own time and manner suited to them. Furthermore, it is probably not required that they meet the standard of language as in the English speaking nation but a so-called "international standard" that enables smooth communication in whatever arena. Though such may be happening for the spread of other languages too, it is not conceivable that it will happen on a scale nearly as large as for the English Language.

In conclusion, it can easily be seen that the English Language will be highly dominant on the Internet and more so in the future.  It may be well for all nations to have some organized effort and goals in this respect.

Why People Save Books

Włodzimierz-AlbinTruth be told, looking at the situation objectively, security is at the lowest part of all the aforementioned explanations. It's a secure feeling to know you have informative content within reach when you require it.

Numerous individuals who jump at the chance to read likewise save the books they have perused. Assuming that you stroll into any home, you are prone to see wherever from a solitary bookshelf to an entire library full of numerous types of books. I know a family whose library has retires arriving at up to their roof; they keep a stepping stool for numerous years and however they infrequently truly open the books once more, they keep them on the racks, tidied and lined up perfectly. Why do individuals save their books? There may be numerous explanations, yet three emerge.

One excuse for why individuals save their books is to utilize them as reference materials. Individuals whose work preparing incorporated concentrating on a great deal of textbook material may safeguard some of the aforementioned books for future reference. A specialist, case in point, might keep his Gray';;s Anatomy and his pharmacology books; an English educator will clutch The Norton Anthology of British Literature and different collections and books for reference; an attorney ordinarily keeps her case books. Anyhow it isn';;t just the experts who save their book. Individuals who get a kick out of the chance to cook keep formula books. Those intrigued by electronic gear clutch their books about stereos, machines, videotape machines, and the like. Numerous families keep encyclopaedias and chronicles convenient for their youngsters to use for school. Having your particular reference book ready is so significantly more advantageous than rushing to the library each time you need to check a truth.

An additional explanation for why some individuals recovery books is to make a great impression. Some surmise that a library full of the artistic classics, glossaries, and books about craft, science, and history make them look well perused and hence advanced. Obviously, this impression may be wrong. Some have never tried to read the greater part of the aforementioned books whatsoever! Truth be told, a couple of individuals even have libraries with fake books. Additionally, some individuals such as to uncover to guests their extensive variety of tastes and engages. They can unobtrusively uncover their investment in Peruvian craft, Indian music, reasoning, or creatures without platitude an expression.

While some individuals may keep books for functional reference and for passing on an impression, I think that there is a deeper explanation for why. Individuals who like perusing have uncovered the enchanting of books. Every book, if its The Treasury of Houseplants or Murder on the Orient Express, has transported the spectator to a different place. Hence, every book truly speaks for an encounter from whichthe spectator may have developed or studied something. At the time I sit in my study, I am encompassed by my entire mature person life. The Standard First Aid and Personal Safety manual, notwithstanding furnishing informative content, helps me to remember the emergency treatment course I took and how more guaranteed I felt therefore. Bulfinch';;s Mythology carries the oral history of Western civilization to my fingertips, helping me to remember my connection with different times and individuals. Obviously, the greater part of the books have come to be part of the mosaic of my life. In short, sparing books makes me feel secure as I clutch what they have given me.

Truth be told, looking at the situation objectively, security is at the lowest part of all the aforementioned explanations. It';;s a secure feeling to know you have informative content within reach when you require it. There is a sort of security, in spite of the fact that it may be false, in knowing you make a great impression. At long last, books that you';;ve perused and kept wrap you with a warm and cosy shroud of your life.

Cost of Poor Quality-Six Sigma Technology

copq_supplychainIn Six Sigma Methodology we eliminate or reduce the Cost Of Poor Quality by using the DMAIC model for existing processes and by using the DMADV model for the new processes. By doing so we can save millions of dollars. It is just like winning a Jackpot.

In this article I have explained the Cost Of Poor Quality. Tangible and Intangible are two types of cost of poor quality (COPQ). The cost of rework, inspection, scrap, warranty and rejection refers to the tangible cost. Decrease in sales, late delivery, annoyed customer, excess inventory handling cost, engineering changes cost refer to the intangible cost. To reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality (COPQ) we need to make changes in Man, Machine, MethodManagement, or the Environment.  We need to improve in one or many of these categories to eliminate or reduce the cost of poor quality (COPQ).This cost of fixing or replacement is called the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Tangible costs are easy to measure and Intangible costs are difficult to measure.Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) decreases with the six sigma level. It is inversely proportional to the six sigma level. The cost of rework or replacement or waste goes down with the increase in six sigma level. Six Sigma level measures the number of defects at various levels. When errors are more it leads to more waste or rework resulting into more cost of poor quality(COPQ). Level 3 or 4 companies spend 25% to 40% of their revenues on fixing defects or replacing defective goods.

Dmaic model is used for reducing the cost of poor quality by eliminating or reducing variation in the existing processes.

DMAIC refers to:

Define=>Measure=>Analyse=>Improve=>Control

DMADV model is used for reducing cost of poor quality by eliminating or reducing the variation in new processes. DMADV refers to:

Define=>Measure=>Analyse=>Design=>Verify

By using these models of Six Sigma Methodology we can reduce cost of poor quality and save millions of dollars. It is just like winning a Jackpot.

Development of different characteristics in Infants

Early childhood care educators studyhuman beinggrowth across thelifeduration from beginning to death. This is known as "womb to tomb" study. The

A thoughtful of the fast changes in a kid';;;;;;sdevelopingposition prepares parents and teachers to give energetic and focused attention to the nursery years and to

director and encourage early education that will help as the basis for later education. Accepting child growth is an essential part of trainingearlykids.
Child Growth

Growthdenotes to change or develop that happens in a kid during the lifetime from birth to youth. This transformationhappens in an arrangedorder, involving bodily,

cognitive, and emotivegrowth. These three foremost areas of kidgrowthincludedevelopingmodifications which take place in a likely pattern, systematic, however with

changes in the frequency or timing of the changes from one individual to another.

Bodilygrowth
Teacher training in India, explain how the bodilygrowth of a kid in his following year of existenceprovide as the base for cognitive, behavior and communalgrowth. As

an effect of the muscularization of the legs, the kid is now capable to walk and discover on his own. With the gross motor skill to walk, run and rise, as well as the

fine motor skills of grasping and influencesubstance, a childunderstanding less confidence on his parents and an enlargedwisdom of independence.

Cognitive growth

According to the Montessori Course, kidsamong the ages of 2 and 4 begin to be capable to signifysubstance with vocabulary. Kids of this period are capable to

believecharacteristically and to pass on to substances that are not instantlyat hand, on the other hand they are not capable to notice from the point of outlook of

others. This "egocentrism," is obvious when asking the child what someone standing conflicting his point of view can see. The typical 4-year-old can only explain

what he observe.

Behaviorgrowth

Early Childhood Program describes the "rouge test" in which a dab of red structure is located on the kid';;;;;;s forehead. By the next year all fitkids are capable to

recognize themselves in a mirrorand clean the rouge from their face. The ECCE India educators take this as verification of a "self concept." A childlanguage is growing

with much loved words such "my" and "no," as well as suggestion to his self and to "mom" and "dad." This is taken as verification that the kids is “individuating” and

considering himself as an individual disconnect from others.

Communalgrowth

With independence and the common sense of self, the kid is presented with the difficulty of communalcommunication.Thechild is managing his skill of

mutuallyself-assurance, such as walking to a preferred toy, and communalexploitation, such as getting somebody to get him the teddy bear. The communalgrowth

for the kid of this age hub on attaining a sense of self while under pressure with thoughts of embarrassment for his individuation. This is a consequence of the close

relative who yell at the nosychild in his "terrible twos."
The mission of VES is to endow teachers with the skills required to teach young children. Emphasis is given to teaching theoretical aspects delving in child psychology, child growth and development, child health and nutrition, and child care and management. However, the syllabuses of teacher training course (India) are channelized towards ';;;;practical application';;;;. All subjects in the curriculum of teacher training India finally merge into a composite whole and our students who are undergoing teacher education training (India) are taught how to apply their knowledge in a practical manner in real-life situations.

We focus on making our trainees who are undergoing teacher training courses (India) understand the child';;;;s psychology when guiding him. Our trainees who are undergoing teacher training courses are trained to be proactive in the classroom and to be always ready to guide, assist, support and to be concerned for the children under their care. We keep reminding our trainees that their purpose should be to stimulate the child';;;;s fervour for learning by guiding him without interfering with his natural instincts.
The Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Coursecaters to children in the age group of 3-6 years. Children are most educable in this age group. This is because the occurrences of reception and retention in children during these years are in their climax. So, they need expert handling and care-taking. It, therefore, becomes necessary for that the teachers and care takers handling children in pre-schools and other child care centres to be thoroughly and systematically trained. These days, it has become obligatory to undertake the Early Childhood Education Trainingin order to acquire jobs in various academic and non-academic posts at the pre- primary and primary school levels.

How Do You Feel Being An Adopted Child?

images (7)Most parents probably think that a biological child is the most important. They feel happy when they have children of their own. Because of this adopted children feel less important in the family and the situation makes them unhappy.

How do you feel when knowing that you are just an adopted child - not the biological child? These conditions are experienced by many children after they have grown up they eventually find out that they are not the biological child of the two parents who have raised them.

Surely knowing that they are only adopted children is very painful. It really hurts. So as parents what actions would you take after the children you have raised know the actual condition?

Why do spouses have to adopt a child? Spouses sometimes have difficulty having children until they finally decided to raise a child as their heart entertainer. But parents sometimes do not realize that raising a child will become a problem later on if the child knows that they are only adopted children.

When parents decide to adopt children, they should be able to keep it secret by moving to a new house or moving to another city. It's very important to keep the adopted child's feelings. I know a friend of mine who is in fact an adopted child. He told me he was deeply hurt when he found out he was only an adopted child. His foster parents kept it secret but neighbors let the cat out of the bag. He overheard a conversation that mentioned him being an adopted child. He was not brave enough to ask his parents.

In my opinion, adopted child or biological child is not a problem. Adopted child who has grown up since he or she was a baby is just like a child of their own. He will have the nature of people who raised him. What's the use of having a biological child, but we never take care of and raise them?

Parents who have adopted children since they were babies have to make sure the children do not know this or else you will break their heart. This is one of the problems of adopting children when they were still babies. If you adopt a child when he or she is already grown up, that will be fine since they already know that they will be adopted.

Why Do Kids Crave Magic?

1_123125_2135002_2208760_2233985_091029_fam_magictn.jpg.CROP.original-originalEver notice that the ones who truly believe in Magic are kids? We did, too, when we were young. But what's with magic that almost every child loves? And what power lies beneath those tricks that even the most cynical kid is amazed?

There’s something about kids that the adults envy. Maybe it’s their youth and energy, their innocence, or their happiness in the littlest things. Or probably their high hopes and strong impulse for adventures. But perhaps, we envy that they can slay a dragon with their mighty sword and save the princess, become a wizard and invent potions to cure every disease, fly to the moon and make friends in other planets, make allies with a vicious wolf pack, or turn the evil witch into an adorable chubby hamster. Maybe that’s what makes children special, their belief in magic. And seeing these kids get hooked up in their own little magical world badly reminds us of the times we once had our own enchanted land, and now gone.

Magic opens the doors to imagination and lights up excitement within children. See the reaction when you play magic tricks to a kid? Their eyes lit up in surprise.  After a while, they do these tricks to you and to almost everybody they know. But what’s so special about magic that kids seem to love them?

Exploration

Well, one reason is the sense of surprise. The delight they feel whenever imagination and expectations are bent. Kids are explorers, which is why they easily get bored in playing the same toy. Bring them a new one and they will suddenly feel perked up. Same principle lies in magic. Magic is designed to “defy” reality and expectation. That’s why kids love seeing magic tricks as it simply shows that there are more than two sides of the coin.

Mystery

Kids also love the sense of mystery in magic. They can never sit still unless they debunk the tricks. They ask the magicians and almost every adult they know about how the tricks are done. Some kids even try to outsmart the magicians, which is always a delight to see. And from all those asking around, some kids even end up dreaming to become magicians one day.

Fun

This is probably the most obvious factor—magic is fun. And what kid wouldn’t love to have fun? Magic brings happiness and joy to every child. There seem to be no kid who doesn’t enjoy magic. On birthdays or any kind of kid parties, notice how no one is left out from the circle that gathered around the clown or magician. Every one of them wants to watch the tricks and is eager to learn.

Inspiration

Magic brings hope to kids. It shows that fun and wonders doesn’t stop once you grow up. Magic tells you that nothing is impossible and others shouldn’t tell you otherwise. It tells to kids that imagination is a super power, exploration is strength, and curiosity is armor. Once they possess these, they can be anything they want to be.

So for adults, do not discourage kids once they tell you they want to be the next Houdini or David Copperfield. Because magic’s very mission is to tell kids they are bound to do greatness and amaze the world with what they can do.

Teaching Time: How to Help Your Teen Live an Organized Life

images (6)This article more or less revolves around management of teens by concerned parents and peers.

All play and no work. A rather cynical observation of the modern day teen. On the contrary most teens have more to chew upon than one would imagine. School, college, tuitions, hobbies, social service and part time jobs are all activities that literally keep a teen on the go first thing in the morning. Nevertheless a diehard attitude would definitely be a key to success on the academic and professional front. What’s worrying is the burnt out factor a teen would have to comprehend with if not guided or counseled in time. Thereby concerned parents and elders could definitely do their kids a favor through timely guidance in the form of various tips listed below.

Organized Daily Activity - It’s important for a parent to inculcate a certain work ethic into a child. The all important management factor of planning should be instilled in a kid at a very young age. Such a factor would help a teen realize dreams, adhere to commitments and gain more control on one’s self. It would also help a teen accomplish day to day activity with consummate ease rather than get burned out for that matter.

The Significance Factor - It’s vitally important that a parent works in tandem with a child to help arrange routine activity by value rather than irrational thought on the part of a teen. This particular initiative would help a teen understand the significance of her work. It’s important not to intimidate and overburden a teen, but rather analyze a teen’s own capability and output.

Responsibility & Commitment - Tomorrow never comes or it’s very unlikely that the sun’s going to rise first thing in the morning. . Responsibility and commitment in this sense would involve a certain amount of pushing and counseling on part of parents. Lack of commitment and prudent behavior of a teen would have to be nipped in the bud. Thereby certain elements of a nonchalant attitude would have to be curbed in order for a teen to become more responsible and committed.

Prioritize and simplify goals and objectives - A myth that says learn to sit on a horse first rather than trying to gallop away to glory from day one. It’s important for a parent once again to reason out with a child to take things one day at a time. A parent should spell out the necessity of simplifying work procedures in order to achieve long term goals.

Limit science to good effect - Science in this context would deal with technology. Yes the technological world and its unbelievable devices on offer could lead to many a kid losing focus from the real thing. PC’s, gadgets, play stations, smart phones, I pods, etc. should be used to good educational effects when left at a teens mercy. Teens generally get obsessed and distracted with such devices. Therefore it’s important for parents to limit a teen’s usage to such additive elements of modern day science and technology.

Health & Fitness - Teens are prone to junk food, abuse of unwarranted vices and unhealthy social life. It’s important for parents to signify the importance of a healthy diet to a teen to avoid further health complications. Teens are vulnerable to alcohol and drug abuse; thereby it becomes vitally important for parents to spell out harmful effects of the same to teens. Late nights and parties are also part of a teen’s agenda; therefore once again parents must stress the importance of a healthy life to a teen in general.
